Along the way we decide which functions get autonomous agents, copilots or no AI at all, and which models you can swap without a rebuild. You also get enough context to answer the board's questions about cost and risk.

The engagement tests the role before you hire for it. You see what a Chief AI Officer would own in your company, and whether the job needs a full-time person.

A central AI lab can't run every workflow. My default design keeps a small central group for the platform, standards and governance. The people inside each function own their workflows and the results.

I coach the leaders on both sides of that handoff. When the engagement ends, your team has the agents, prompts, evals and runbooks, so the work keeps shipping without me.
